Democratic Governance – Indonesia
The Asia Foundation, an international non-governmental organization, is seeking applicants for the long-term positions of Deputy Chief of Party and Chief of Party for an upcoming project in Indonesia. Consultants must be able to provide technical leadership in the areas of civil society strengthening, policy research and analysis, and legislative development.
Candidates must possess experience managing large-scale donor-assisted democratic governance programs, with a preference for experience in Indonesia. Desirable skills include: knowledge of the legal, political, economic, administrative and socio-cultural context of reform in Indonesia; experience leading consultation with a wide range of stakeholders and donors: and a demonstrated track record applying international development program design principles and methods.
Chief of Party applicants should be international development professionals with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience. A minimum of six years experience is required for Deputy Chief of Party-level positions.
