FIELD SAFETY ENGINEER

Work location: PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore – Onshore Gresik
Department: Field Operations

Summary Position:
Perform and provide advisory and technical assistance to Operations Team/Management during the implementation of the Control Of Work and HSE Programs across Operations Department, in order to ensure that programs are understood and followed by all employees in providing safe, reliable and sustainable operations to met the Company’s objectives, goals and targets.

Key Accountabilities:

• To develop annual safety program based on risk priorities and keep up to date about current policies, regulations, and industrial processes
• To monitor safety program implementation, prepare information and provide Safety Advisory and input to execution plans in safety related issue
• To develop various types of events to promote safety awareness, safety training materials, concentrating on safety related issue and site hazard identification
• To review and arrange safety design, HAZID, HAZOP and other risk assessment methods, evaluate hazardous material handling procedures, and inspect and assess facilities, machinery, and safety equipment
• To participate in investigating all accidents and incidents resulting in “near miss”, lost time injuries or major property, liability or equipment damage and identify root cause
• To conduct regular Audit and inspection and assist in conducting comprehensive Safety Audits/Assessments of field operations and contractors/vendors
• To review, prepare and maintain documentation and reports of accident, incident, safety engineering and all aspects of safety program

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in oil & gas industry, related experience in various HSE activities such as Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, PSSR, HSE Audit
• Language & computer literacy
