Expression of Interest – Tabang Coal Upgrading Plant (TCUP)

One of our project, located in Tabang, East Kalimantan is required the staff positions to enable the operation of the facility to operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for 7,000 operating hours per annum. The process plant upgrades low rank sub-bituminous through a drying and agglomerating million tones per annum. The TCUP facility also has a small coal fired power station to supply energy to the TCUP.

OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT (Job No. 531089)

Reporting to Site Manager, You will providing safety leadership to the Operations team; Ensuring the Production plant, Power plant and laboratory are operated safely, reliably and efficiently according to the approved operating procedures to ensure maximum productivity; Ensuring risk assessments for operation activities and supporting the development of safe work procedures; Manage logistic associated with raw coal supply and product material delivery; Manage lock out and tag out and other relevant site safety procedures; Ensuring product quality meets minimum specifications; Managing the development of operating procedures; Liaising and obtaining approval from the client engineering manager for any proposed changes to the plant operation procedures.

You must have experience as a field operator in a coal/minerals processing plant, including knowledge of crushing, mills, conveyors, cyclones, fans and pumps; Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and inspection techniques; Operating of Dozer, FEL and mobile plant c/w appropriate certification as required under Indonesian HSE codes and practices; Able to work as part of a team and encourage team building; Proactive attitude to safety.
