Senior Finance Manager PT Best World Indonesia

PT Best World Indonesia is a subsidiary of Best World International Limited, a Singapore incorporated company listed on the Mainboard of SGX-ST and specializes in the creation of health and wellness products which are distributed through proprietary direct selling channel. Currently, we are looking for a highly committed and capable personnel to be based in Jakarta for the position of:

Reporting to:

  • Functional Reporting to Group Financial Controller in Singapore
  • Direct Reporting to Country Manager in Indonesia, Jakarta

Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of financial & accounting and human resource functions. This includes reporting, reviewing & performing financial performance analysis, consolidation, inventory management, cash flow management, taxation, internal controls, credit control and risk management, payroll and recruitment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports in accordance with accounting standards
  • Develop strategic plans, budgets and cash flow projections with financial performance measurement and analysis
  • Work closely with Group FC on treasury and cash flow management to achieve optimal cash position from the group perspective
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures to improve financial and operational processes and align with that of Singapore HQ wherever possible
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and group reporting requirements
  • Develop and maintain a good system of internal controls and ensure compliance with such internal controls, policies and procedures set
  • Assist in managing daily operational issues relating to finance and internal controls
  • Assist in tax matters and ensure all tax filings are done on time and provide tax advice when required
  • Assist in governmental and legal matters
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, company secretary and any other third party as required
  • Supervise, lead and develop finance team members

Requirements:

  • Good degree or professional qualification in Accountancy / ACCA and CPA qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years of post-qualifying experience and 3 years in a management capacity
  • Strong leadership coupled with hands-on attitude is essential as incumbent will have to provide leadership and coaching to the team
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and possess strong analytical skills
  • Self motivated, independent, able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia / Malay
  • Ability to start work immediately will be an advantage
