Transport Engineer #111020
The World Bank has had a long engagement in Indonesia’s road sector including three on-going operations in the portfolio and two planned road projects in the pipeline over the next three years. Beyond highways, maritime and urban transport may be become an increasing part of the work program over the next few years.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be assigned duties as a member of a team asked to prepare, appraise, negotiate, and supervise implementation of transport sector projects and programs (mainly roads).
Selection Criteria:
Masters degree or equivalent academic qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g., civil engineering, transport planning with an engineering background etc.; at least 5 years of professional experience in transport operations including management of transport projects, experience in contract administration, planning and programming of capital and maintenance works and institutional reforms.
